Update from Dr. Gross

February 22, 2023

Dear patients,

I wanted to update you on some changes to my schedule and availability over the last month or so. I have recently hired a number of locum (replacement) physicians to cover my practice, which has resulted in some appointment changes. Finding locum physicians is a challenge, and I am so grateful for the incredible doctors who have agreed to help provide intermittent coverage for my practice and my patients.

Unfortunately, Dr. Paul Fritsch has recently informed me that he will be ending his year-long part-time locum position. As such, I am working to identify a qualified candidate who can work part-time to assist me in providing continuity of care and full coverage for the practice. I understand these changes can be disruptive and I am committed to ensuring you have access to the medical care you need. Your health and well-being are very important to me.

During this transition period, I want to remind you that you should not delay seeking medical attention for your issues or concerns. If you have an appointment with a locum doctor, please maintain that appointment as much as possible. While I understand that you may prefer to see me for certain issues, rescheduling your appointment can delay diagnosis and treatment and places additional strain on an already busy schedule.

I truly appreciate your understanding and patience over the last year, and during this current transition period. I look forward to returning to a more regular schedule soon.

Sincerely,

Dr. Paul Gross, MDCM, CCFP
