If you have a work-related injury or illness, please call and inform the staff when booking your appointment. Please allow an extra 5 min before your visit to provide our front desk staff with your WorksafeBC claim number and employer information in order to ensure timely processing of your claim.
If your visit relates to an injury resulting from a motor vehicle accident, please call us to book the appointment. If the accident involves an ICBC claim, please provide our front desk staff with the claim number before your visit.
We provide childhood immunizations, allergy shots and covered vaccines for our patients (including influenza during flu season). Some immunizations are not funded by the government (i.e. Zostavax for shingles) but may be recommended by your doctor and covered by your extended health plan. These require a prescription from your physician, can be purchased at the pharmacy and administered by the nurses at Spectrum.
For more information about immunizations, please visit the Immunize BC website.
We do not provide travel vaccines. Please visit Immunize BC Travel Vaccine Website for more information.
Available through the Spectrum Health Patient Portal. Please speak with our front staff to register. Registered patients can access the Patient portal here.
Patients registered with My eHealth through the laboratory can also access online test results at http://www.myehealth.ca/.
If you have forms for your physician to fill out (i.e. Driver’s Medical Examination form, Attending Physician Statement, Medical Employability form, etc.) please inform our staff when you book your appointment. There may be a fee associated with completion of the form.
Please be aware that it may not be possible for your physician to complete the form at the time of the visit. You may be asked to return to the clinic to pick up the completed form at a later date. Please book in advance to allow ample time for your physician to complete time-sensitive forms.
