Emma graduated from The University of Leeds, School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 2001. She has had the privilege of travelling with her nursing career throughout England, Australia and Canada. She was fortunate enough to work in the HIV centre for excellence at Chelsea and Westminster hospital, London, St Vincents Hospital Sydney and North Manchester Infectious diseases unit prior to immigrating to Canada in 2006.

Emma continued her career in HIV at the Dr Peters Centre and St Pauls Hospital Immunodeficiency Clinic (IDC) before moving to Spectrum Health in 2010. Although most of her nursing has been HIV focused, Emma also has experience in palliative care, emergency room, high dependency care and community health. She has certified practice in reproductive health with main interest in primary healthcare, HIV and sexual health. She takes great pride in the team she works with and the healthcare provision here at Spectrum Health.

Emma lives in North Vancouver, has a young family of her own that fulfil her time outside of Spectrum along with her love for the outdoors and embracing all that BC has to offer.
